xorg error
 

folgender error unter fedora core 3 nach dem starten von X:


Error activating XKB configuration.
Probably internal X server problem.

X server version data:
The X.Org Foundation

If you report this situation as a bug, please include:
- The result of xprop -root | grep XKB
- The result of gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/xkb



vllt hat es damit zu tun dass ich die xorg.conf von meinem vorigen system (fc2) übernommen habe (wegen dual display etc.).
gnome funktioniert wunderbar, nur die error-message am anfang stört mich, weiß wer was?

fuehr mal "xorgcfg -textmode" aus.

und geh dort auf keyboard, loesche die aktuelle einstellung und erstell ein neues und versuch dann mal xorg zu starten.

bzw. versuch mal "setxkbmap de" auszufuehren.

erstmal danke für deine hilfe.

das xorgcfg findet er garnicht, das setxkbdmap läuft zwar, aber das findet eine rules file nicht.

[ebtschi@localhost ebtschi]$ whereis xorgcfg
xorgcfg:
[ebtschi@localhost ebtschi]$ setxkbmap de
Couldn't find rules file (xfree86)

hat wer eine idee was da los sein koennte? :(
