FSUIPC Offset richtig in FSBUS einbinden?

Hallo,

6 Komma 10352 hoch -005
Nach deinen Vergleichswerten müsste aber eine 1 herauskommen.
Du solltest mal sehen, ob du auf INTEGER statt FLOAT umstellen kannst.
Gruß rico

Hello bwr014,

I try to explain my problem in english (It´s not very good):

I am want connect a switch with FSBus for to Switch off the Fuel Flow to the Engine (FSUIPC Offset Number 0890)
I put the following line in FSIF.ini

2, "Engine1_Left_Fuel_Sw", 509, 0, 0x0890, I16, 1, RW, 10, 1,1,

when I put on the switch I see in MS Flightsimulator that the Fuel Switch visually working, but the engine does not start.

When I view the value in FSLOOK2.exe the General_Engine1_Mixture_Leve_Pos show me the value 0 or 6.10352e-005.

When I put on the switch directly via Mouse in MS Flightsimulator the value changes in FSLOOK.exe from 0 to 1.

what I do wrong?

I dont know exactly which the individual values mean exactly like e.g.. "mode" and "Opt" in the FSIF.ini .

Hello Peter,

Your english is very well so no problems with that here :)

Just to be sure... you are talking about the switch you see in the FS of a basic cockpitpanel of the 737 by your throttle? those 2 small switches?

at the top of the basic 737 panel you see on the right 2 switches ENG1 and ENG2 it say off/../start With that switch you start the engine... the only thing you maybe now have done is to give the engine fuel by switching the fuel to ON...

My airbus works simulair... I have to have first my bleed and xfeed open to get fuel to the eng than i have to set my eng starter to ING and switch on the ENG 1 and ENG 2 toggles... that will start both of my engines... after started i have to put my knob back to NORM..

Maybe you mistaken in those 2 ( fuel on/off and eng start on/off)

Hello bwr014,

I mean the 2 swiches at the throttle (Fuel cut off, right from the parking breake)

bwr014 29.03.2005 20:16

Ok, but you dont start your engines with those 2 switches!!

that is only to open the fuel, you need to use the 2 engine start buttons to start your engine:)

I know that the switch its only to open the fuel, but it does not work.

please can you send me your FSIF.ini for to look something else ? :)

Hello Peter,

Seems i did misunderstood you than because you mention above that you visual saw the switch move when you used that offset.

"I am want connect a switch with FSBus for to Switch off the Fuel Flow to the Engine (FSUIPC Offset Number 0890)

Guess you didnt see anything happen so that brought me on the wrong track...

I will have a look for you what i can figure out to get that switch moving .. :)

I have found my problem:)

I must insert at the Fuel Switch the up value = "16384" and not only "1"
now it works.

I have a another Question:
Have you visible in your Cockpit a Fail Engine Warning Lamp ?, how do you realize this (offset etc..)

thanks for your efforts
