MySQL - safe mode

Hallo zusammen

Ich habe eine Frage:
Ich möchte eine FotoHP einrichten und ein vorgefertigte Fotoforum verwenden.
Was bedeutet den safe-modus bei der MySQL Datenbank zu deaktivieren?
Was bewirkt das?
