DLT 7000 Bandlaufwerk Problem
 

Hab 2 neue Bandkassetten für Dell DLT 7000 Bandlaufwerk bekommen, wenn ich diese einlege macht das Laufwerk ungewohnte Geräusche und alle 4 LED´s auf der rechte Seite blinken andauernd. Wenn ich dann die alte Kassette wieder einlege ist dann wieder normal. Das Problem habe ich mit beiden neuen Kassetten.

Die alte Kassette kommt ebenfalls aus dem Hause Fijifilm.

Hat jemand schon mal dieses Problem gehabt und kann hoffentlich mir ein Lösung geben....

Wie folgend im Manual von DLT 7000 bin ich schon vorgegangen, ohne Erfolg....

The tape drive detects an error
condition.

Right- or left-hand LEDs blink repeatedly. Try to unload the
tape and reinitialize the tape drive by pressing the Unload
button or turn the drive power off then back on. The LEDs
stop blinking and the drive attempts to reinitialize. Note that
after pressing the Unload button you may have to wait five
minutes before the Operate Handle LED lights due to the
retry. The LEDs light steadily, then turn off if the test
succeeds.

Ist es auch der genau gleiche DLT-Typ und nicht nur der gleiche Bandhersteller?

Mir ist es schon öfters passiert, das ich DLT in SDLT Laufwerke reingeschoben habe und das obwohl es eigentlich funtionieren sollte doch nicht funktionierte.

Schreibschutz-Schieber-Dings auf "Nicht-Schreibgeschützt"?

Ja, es ist genau das gleiche DLT Typ. Schreibschutz war und ist nicht aktiviert.
Wenn Schreibschutz aktiv ist, ist bei Schieber der Schlitz rosa oder?

Ich hab mir jetzt ein HP SDLT I Band geholt.

Da steht: "Push the switch to the left to prevent any data recording on the cartridge. Orange indicator can be seen"

Bei mir ist das zwar wie gesagt Orange, aber ich würde sagen wenn man das farbige Feld sieht ist der Schreibschutz drin.
