Hallo Leute,

ich habe ein Problem.

Ich habe gerade SuSE Linux 9.1 Professional installiert. Habe auch Sendmail als MTA installiert und konfiguriert (hat mit dieser Konfig bereits auf SuSE Linux 7.2 prof funktioniert, Sendmail 8.10.xx, egal). Die Verbindung zu allen anderen Ports funktioniert (SSH, IMAPs, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, usw.). Wenn ich eine Verbindung manuell direkt auf der Konsole ausführe (telnet mail 25) bekomme ich die selbe Fehlermeldung. Es funktioniert nur mit localhost.

Firewall ist übrigens deaktiviert.

mit "telnet localhost 25" auf der konsole ist er ja erreichbar.

mahh, wer lesen kann, ist klar im vorteil *gggg*

hab mir grad die root-mails angeschaut. sendmail hat mir eh eine mail "geschrieben", wieso ich nicht zugreifen kann.

sendmail lauscht nur an Port 25 von localhost. Falls Sie einen
Mailserver betreiben möchten, müssen Sie die Variable
SMTPD_LISTEN_REMOTE in /etc/sysconfig/mail auf "yes" setzen
und sendmail mit
rcsendmail restart
neu starten.
