Tja Leute - nach einem Update von 128 MB auf 382 MB fingen meine Freezer wieder an - der BIldschirm for einfach unnachvollziebar irgend wo ein auch bei "Nullaktivität". Ein downgraden auf 128 MB brachte nix - dieses Einfrieren blieb.

Also kontaktete ich den Abit Support,( Von dem man bis dato nix gutes gutes hörte):

und man staune - ich würde bis Anfang letzter Woche tägl. 2x per E-mail kontaktet bzgl. meiner Konfiguration - gleichzeitig wurde bei Abit ein Testsystemn aufgezogen und ein haufen Benchmarks gestartet - man ersuchte mich jedoch, bis zum Ende der Testläufe Stillschweigen über das Ganze zu bewahren - so und heute kam das Statement (zu finden unter: http://apps4.vantagenet.com/zforums/...568&parentid=0 )

Die nachricht lautete:

So we tend NOT to claim that KA7 officially supports Thunderbird. Sorry.

Nochmals Tja - das wars - das Abit ka7 kann zwar aufgrund des Bios (sehr gut einstellbar) mit dem T-Bird funzen, tut es aber oft auch nicht (wie bei mir)

für alle jene die probleme mit tbird im ka7 haben, tausche ich das board um ( Umtausch und Versandpauschale = ATS 500,00 alles incl. )

das ASUS K7V-T funktioniert garantiert mit den Tbirds, ich habe einen 800@990 im test und einen 1000er ohne oc - alles super laufend, auch über einen prozzi tausch ( tbird gegen athlon ) darf verhandelt werden.

Danke - ich werds überleben - thats life - wicht ist, dass es ander, die sich einen solchen Schritt überlegen auch erfahren!

Das selbe Problem hatten wir auch. Abit KA7-100+tb800. Bootet problemlos hoch, bleibt jedoch sporadisch hängen (unter Stress).
Kann man halt nichts machen.

Sogar sehr gut - nur wenn man diese datei downlädt und gfenauer ansieht, besteht diese aus 2 Biosupdates - einmal das ry Bios und einmal das Updatefür den UDMA100 Controller

leider löst das nicht die Probleme mit dem T-Bird!!

Es gibt leider auch absolut keine Lösung. Das kann keinesfalls mit irgend einem Biosupdate behoben werden. Liegt einzig und allein am Boarddesign. (reimt sich ;) )

Hilft Dir leider jetzt nichts, aber ich sitz gerade an einem Asus K7V-T mit einem Thunderbird 700. Hat sofort und ohne irgendwelche Einstellung oder Tricks funktioniert.
