dpkg --force und apt-get

problem:

depends libqt3-mt



> apt-get install libqt3-mt

However the following packages replace it:

  libqt3 libqt3-mt libqt3c102-mt libqt3c102

aaaahaa.
also ist libqt3-mt das replacement für libqt3-mt....

auf jeden fall

> dpkg -i --force-depends opera-whatsoever.deb
installiert opera und das ding funkt dann auch.

dafür sagt mir apt-get dann dass es (wegen oben erwähnter libqt3-mt problematik) probleme gibt und ich möge doch apt-get -f install ausführen. selbiges löscht mir opera wieder. halbwegs zach.

resultat des problems:
ich bin verwirrt

wie überred ich entweder dpkg oder apt-get das ganze so zu ignorieren dass beides funkt?

klar wird opera entfernt, wenn ein depend nicht vorhanden ist.

apt-cache search libat3-mt sagt was?

apt-cache show libqt3-mt wäre auch mal einen versuch wert, vielleicht entdeckst du ja irgendwas. was sagt bugs.debian.org?

Ich nehme an das es daran liegt:

Das entsprechende Paket gibt es aber nur in Stable (alias Woody):
http://packages.debian.org/cgi-bin/s...ll&release=all

Jemand (Lotussteve?) hat einmal geschreiben das man solche Pakete (opera) einfach auf Hold setzten kann. Selber probiert habe ich das aber noch nicht.

Am besten du startest einmal aptitude und versucht es.

hat nicht wirklich funktioniert, hold nimmt er bei einem package mit broken deps nicht.
