Virus in der edonkey.exe

Hab heute frueh die downloads gecheckt - da sah ich schon die Virusmeldung: "edonkey.exe ist mit dem Backdoor.**** infiziert"

Konnte die Datei nicht reparieren. Dann ging ich ins edonkey Verzeichnis – und die Datei war geloescht…?

Naja da ich zur arbeit musste hab ich den PC abgedreht.

naja, irgendein *zensiert* hat deiner emule.exe einen trojaner "eingeimpft".
ich empfehle folgende vorgehensweise :
1.) Kompletter Systemscan mit deinem AntiVirenProggy
2.) edonkey deinstallieren ( falls noch möglich, sonst den ordner löschen )
3.) edonkey neu installieren
4.) Nochmals das System komplett scannen

die edonkey.exe wurde von Norton schon geloescht.

Werd wenn ich nach haus komme die von dir angegebenen Punkte abarbeiten.

genau das ist der Virus den Norton heute frueh erkannt hat...

Ich verwende edonkey hibryd 0.52 seit diese version releases wurde - hab auch immer die neuesten viren definitionen...

also sieht es so aus als ob edonkey erst heute infiziert wurde...

Koenntest du mir eventuell den link zu dieser Info posten?

Nunja, die info is von einer Site die nicht den Forumsregeln entspricht ;)

Laut Programmierer handelt es sich um einen Fehler von NAV2004 :

also einfach den edonkey2000 ordner in die AutoProtect-Ausschlussliste und in die normale Ausnahme liste ( vom manuellen scan ) geben und es hat sich ;)

Na toll - ich kann edonkey gar nicht mehr installieren - Norton bricht die Installation ab!

Aber bevor ich nichts von Firmen-seiten der Symantec oder der edonkey hoere - will ich es nicht installieren.

There is no virus or backdoor in Overnet or eDonkey2000. Norton antivirus is incorrectly detecting this. No other virus software is having problems with our exe.

Na gut! - jedoch erkennt norton noch immer einen Virus in der Datei

kann mir mal einer erklären, wie sowas sein kann? ich hab sowohl den hybrid als auch den norton schon ewig installiert, und erst so plötzlich taucht dieser "fehler" auf?

Fehler in einer einer Virensignatur, beim update bekommst die fehlerhafte Signatur usw.
