Hallo,

es gibt etwas Interessantes zu PIC Version 2. Offensichtlich arbeitet das Team doch im stillen Kämmerlein....

PIC767 Version 2

In the recent PIC767 Flying Club radio show it was confirmed that a new version is on its way. It will not be an update but a completely new version. Version 2 will be made for FS2004 and contain some completely new features in FS. The FMC will get a major overhaul and model all functions of the real plane, the AFDS will also be updated.

However, the main feature of version 2 will be networking gauges. Networking gauges means that for example two pilots can control each others instruments and make FMC inputs directly visible on the other pilots computer. Thus taking FS flying to a new level!

A release date is not set yet, but it won't take too long according to the PIC767 Flying Club.

Gibt es schon einen voraussichtlichen Ankündigungstermin (nach Erscheinung wage ichnicht zu fragen)

Also das wäre dann ja doch ein Grund den "Neuen" anzuschaffen.....

Mal im Ernst: Ich habe gerade die PIC767 Flying Club radio show jetzt verspätet nachgehört: Bill Van Caulart hat mit Wade Chafe über das Projekt gesprochen (Telefon) und Wade hat die Arbeit daran bestätigt: "There is a PIC V2 in the works". Es gibt natürlich keinen Termin und es ist auch müßig darüber zu spekulieren. Die Gauges sind wohl schon relativ weit und das "networking" funktioniert. Sie arbeiten zur Zeit an Erweiterungen des FMC (Einbindung Cost Index, Wetter etc), ein AC Model gibt es noch nicht. Das Team bisher ja "Welp"Team genannt ist aber reduziert. Eric Ernst ist nicht mehr dabei.

zu der Frage 757 fähig oder nicht, gibt es noch keine Stellungnahme aber die offizielle Ankündigung von Wade Chafe im Avsim Forum steht hier:
