Windows XP Boot CD bleibt hängen

Hallo

Die Installations CD von Windows XP bleibt beim Überprüfen der Systemkonfiguration immer hängen ( schwarzer Bildschirm ). Ich verwende folgendes System Sony Vaio GR214EP.
Hat irgendjemand eine Idee woran das liegen könnte?

ist es eine orginal cd? funktioniert diese mit einem anderen pc?
