FSBUS Servo

Hello

I have a littel problem with the FSBUS Servo.

The instrumet i have connectet to the servo-board, is always make small movents to both side. it seems that it get some signal every time the FSBUS2 router is geting information from the FS2002. If i stop the FS2002 the instrument is standing still.

Have anybody have the same problem, and can it be doing someting to avoid the problem.

regards

shielded cables

Seems to be a noisy cable, probably unshielded ?
It works like an antenna, if it's not shielded.
It has to be grounded at one side (end) of the cable.
May be also that a nearby cable transmits by
capacitive coupling noise to your "hot" cable.
Do not lay cables side by side !!!
This looks nice, but supports the effect of capacitive coupling.
Is the servo proper balanced? too high amplification looks also like noisy inputs !

Hi Rico

Which cabel do you mean, Ther is only 2 cabels, the normal from FSBUS COM to FSBUS SERVO, and the cabel from FSBUS SERVO to the servo.

Can it bee the servo-cabel??

Hi Finn,

if you stop fs2002 and any movement stops, what value do you show ?
There are some, which flutter a bit.

You should make the following test:

1. disable all routes except the one route to 1 servo.
Use the pitch value, which i used during checkout and
let fs2002 fly in autopilot mode with constant pitch.

What happens ?

2. enable the other routes during flight.

What happens ?

I don't believe, this has to do with noise on the line, because anything is digital, but who knows.

I am waiting for your results

Hello Dik

I have now make some test
I have only 1 instrument rigth now, and this is N1 for engine.

When i f.exam. raise the gear and the lamp for the gear turns on, and then i have a littel flip on the unstrument every time the route get "scan" from the FS, at the same time the lamp is going out the instrument is make no flip anymore.

When i at the same time look in the router, i can see that the flip is coming at the same time when the green "scan" lamp is coming.

I have make the test with only the instrument and the gear lamp at on, everyting else was inactiv.

Regards
Finn
