Win XP Home und Netware Client
 

NWLink IPX/SPX/Netbios protocol and Netware Client

Folgende Frage:

Hat Win XP Home den Netware Cleint installiert ? Ich bekomme meinen Printserver (Ovislink P-103) anscheinend ohne dieses Protokoll nicht zu laufen.
Hab mir von Novell den Novell Client downgeloadet. Kann ich das installieren ohne Probs ?

für die home edition gibts keinen client, kann mal bei der arbeit schaun da machen wir das aber normalerweise installiern wir den nur bei proffesional Xp versionen, bei der home gehts wenn höchstens mit einer seperaten install, vom windoof her gibts nix, is leider so

Einfacher waere es IMHO, den Printserver umzukonfigurieren.

tja ich weiss auch net ganz was für ein netzwerk du hast aber normalerweise rentiert sich novell nur bei größeren wo man dann auch einen nds verwendet und zen works ...wie auf der klagenurter uni ;) - aber ganz so toll is novell auhc net immer, wenn das neueste zenworks dann das spricht was es verspricht und xp auch entlich unterstützt wird wärs fein ...

So. Problem gelöst. Lag am fehlenden LPR Protokoll. Habe die Novell Software wieder deinstalliert - war zu verwirrend.:D
