FSBUS Display, DME
Hi
I am bulding a FSBUS Display to DME1 and DME2 distance, now i try to test it in FSBUS 2, and i also try to program it into fsif.ini, but can not get the right value out. In the fsif.ini there is a mode and type value. Do anybody now this value, for DME distance- Can you give me a hint, Dirk. Regards Finn |
Hi Finn,
this needs to be explained in a future doc. In short: Lvl the depth level in tree hierarchy Name a self defined name for this param ID a UNIQUE identifier. All internal references use this Mode all params which needs internal algorithms have assigned a mode number. 0 is the value without extra internal functions Offset the fsuipc offset Type data type I8 = (unsigned integer) 8bit S8 = signed int Opt optional values flags optional flags Read Write +(Add) scan the system polls fsuipc any 50ms. if this field contains 3, it is polled any 3rd loop = 150ms mul multiply a scanned value by this div devide a scanned value by this I hope this helps a bit. If you define some more parameters, send it to me. I will take it into the standard file. Remember to let the ID a unique ID. It may not occur in a second parameter. regards Dirk |
Ups,
the editor suppresses multiple blanks. I wasn't drunken, when i wrote the previous posting. The first word in a line is the parameter name in the ini file |
Hi Dirk
I hav put this in the .ini file: 3, "DME1", 492, 0, 0x0c29, I8, 0,RW+, 10,1,1, But the readouts by a DME on 79.1 is in the FSBUS 55. What are you meaning when you say "a unique id"? Regards Finn |
Hi,
i looked into fsuipc description and saw, that there is a string dataformat in length 5 Byte. This can't be converted automatically, because there is no such format. I have to code this (later). unique means. The id must not occur a second time. regards Dirk |
Hi Dirk
Okey, then i now why i have the problem. I am building the display now, so it will be ready when you have made the code. Thanks very much, for you answer Regards Finn |
