Was haltet Ihr von<SOLTEK SL-75FRV>
oder < EPOX EP-8KHAL+>

wobei der preis ein für mich dzt. (leider) sehr relevanter aspekt ist.
kaufen will ich das mobo auf jedem fall beim ditech ;)

Von diesen zwei würd ich das Soltek nehmen.

Ich würde mich aber für einen Nforce 2 entscheiden. ;)

wenn es zum soltek noch ein, zwei positive statements gibt, würd ich es heut nachmittag holen.

(bin leider lästig, bin aber nur noch bis 11.30 online)

das soltek ist sicher ned soooo schlecht kann asus boards empfehlen, chip hat jeder seine eigenen vorlieben

das EPoX kann ich empfehlen, ich hatte über ein Jahr das 8KHA+ das ja fast ident ist und 100% stabil lief.. :)

wenns nur eine stinknormale Workstation werden soll, gut und billig sein soll dann reicht das EPoX locker...
CPU unterstützung geht bis maximal XP2600+ (die 133er Variante)


Soltek hat halt den Vorteil daß ein neuerer Chipsatz oben ist..

ja das Problem daß es gelegentlich bei BIOS Änderungen nicht mehr booten will kenn ich zur Genüge..

aber anscheinend hat sich keiner vom inquirer die Mühe gemacht einfach den Reset Knopf zu drücken anstatt jedesmal Clear CMOS zu machen.. :D:D

ich selbst bin auch nur zufällig draufgekommen daß es auch so funktioniert, denn normalerweise macht man ja automatisch ein CLEAR CMOS wenn nix mehr geht..

mir ist schon auch klar, daß 70 euro für ein board ein witz ist, aber meine brieftasche läßt nicht mit sich verhandeln.

(ich hätte ja auch gern ein bis zweihundert euro mehr (für´s mobo:D )

zur Qualität von Soltek kann ich dir leider nichts sagen..

die Daten würden jedenfalls eindeutig fürs Soltek sprechen...

schon probiert mit Google nach reviews zu suchen? so mach ichs jedesmal... ;)

Conclusion

Soltek brings a lot for a motherboard in this price point. NFORCE2 is an excellent AMD Athlon chipset that supports virtually every modern feature available for chipsets. The stability of this motherboard was excellent. As I don't overclock, the stability of the motherboard with the standard CPU was hardly a question. If you purchase the optional kit, you get the brackets for the extra USB 2.0 ports as well as the missing SPFDIF input/output, Surround/Rear speaker output, Center/Subwoofer output.

So what do I miss from the motherboard? While it doesn't include 6 USB 2.0 ports without the addition of 2 cables, the headers are there. My case has 2 front USB 2.0 ports, and connecting the cable and installing them was easy.I wish Soltek wouldn't skimp on the cables, as you have to purchase Kit 1 to get the needed cables, off Soltek's website. I also miss the dual LANs that the nForce2 supports. Also missing are the Serial ATA and Gigabit LAN that many motherboards are starting to ship with. As neither is currently widespread, I can't penalize Soltek for not including them.

Soltek really needs to include more standard components with their motherboards as this would increase there scores by a good margin.

All in all, I'm impressed with the Soltek SL75FRN-L motherboard. While not having all of the features of the Asus A7N8x Deluxe, it's performance is right up there with Asus's board. Further, at a pricepoint of $91 on Pricewatch, this board is reasonable priced enough to warrant my recommendation. In comparison to Asus's nFORCE2 board, the price difference of $35, makes this board an excellent value.

The bundle alone makes up for the price of the motherboard by itself. Partition Magic is an excellent program to manage hard drive partitions on any system. If you don't have any anti-virus software, you can use PC-Cillin 2002 for all of your AV needs. The other software included isn't much use to me, but it's nice add-ons for an excellent board. Normally, the bundle isn't much of a consideration in a review, but in this case, it's both useful and very appealing as part of the overall package.

sieht nicht so schlecht aus, sollte schon ein halbwegs brauchbares alltagsbrett sein. werde heut nicht mehr zum ditech fahren. kann es sowieso erst am wochenende einbauen.

kostet zwar einen 20er mehr, der KT400 A ist aber der ungleich modernere Chipsatz (fast so schnell wie der nforce 2, unterstützt CPUs mit FSB 200 & DDR 3200).

das von dir empfohlene board ist sicher auch sehr interessant. ich werde die 20 euro aber in einen markenram (statt noname) investieren.
