Ich habe folgendes Problem mit meinem Thunderbird 1,33GHZ und WIN200

DAS System friert immer wieder ein, es geht nur mehr reset, kein strg-Alt-entf nichts

MB MSI K7T, AMD K7 1,33GHZ, 256MB RAM Infineon, Geforce 2MX, 40GB Seagate als Master am primären, DVD LW Pioneer und Plextor 24/10/40 am sekundären Kanal, Realtek NIC für Intenet.

CPU Temp 50-53 Grad,aktueller Detonatortreiber, Netzteil mit 350Watt,

????
bitte um Hilfe

tausch mal das rämchen aus

wann friert das ding ein? unregelmäßig? systemstart?

schon den neuen via 4nI 4.33 (chipsatztreiber) ausprobiert?

Im Profil hast noch ein anderes Board stehen!
Habe in etwa das gleiche Sys wie Du und keine Probleme.
Bei mir läuft der Viatreiber 4.33 und der Detonator 21.81, DirektX 8.0a, und kein USB Filtertreiber. Vielleicht hilft Dir das.

An pong RAM wurde bereits getauscht, das Ding friert nach 10min, 30min, 2 Std. etc ein.
An Venkman graka ebenfalss scgon getauscht.
An mani 4.29 ist installiert, das System im profil wurde schon ausgetauscht, detonator 21.81 ist installiert ebenfalls DX8.0

hast vielleicht nav oÄ im hintergrund laufen?

Friert er beim Spielen ein oder auch bei Anwendungsprogramme bzw. Standby?

Bei W2K deutet ein Einfrieren ohne vorherigen Absturz auf einen Speicherfehler hin. Ist vielleicht der Speicher zu hoch getaktet?

(LAtency 2 oder 3?)

Du kannst auch mal Spaßhalber das System etwas untertakten (FSB ca. 10MHZ weniger) - schau mal obs da auch passiert.

Sind im Bios AGP 4x und Fast Writes gleichzeitig "enabled" ?
Das wärte auch eine Erklärung fürs Einfrieren des Systems.

SYMPTOMS
A Windows 2000-based computer may stop responding (hang) when you use an Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP) program such as Ziff Davis 3D WinBench 2000. CAUSE
This behavior can occur if memory that is allocated by the video adapter driver is being corrupted.


RESOLUTION
WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.

For information about how to edit the registry, view the "Changing Keys and Values" Help topic in Registry Editor (Regedit.exe) or the "Add and Delete Information in the Registry" and "Edit Registry Data" Help topics in Regedt32.exe. Note that you should back up the registry before you edit it. If you are running Windows NT or Windows 2000, you should also update your Emergency Repair Disk (ERD).

The following workaround for this issue prevents Memory Manager from using the processor's Page Size Extension feature and may affect the performance of some programs, depending on the paging behavior. This registry value also limits non-paged pool to a maximum of 128 megabytes (MB) instead of 256 MB.
Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).


Locate and click the following key in the registry:


HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Session Manager\Memory Management
On the Edit menu, click Add Value, and then add the following registry value:


Value name: LargePageMinimum
Data type: REG_DWORD
Radix: Hexadecimal
Data value: 0xffffffff
Quit Registry Editor.


Restart the computer.

Danke Lou, habe selbst dieses in der knowledgebase nachgelesen, hat aber keinen Erfolg gebracht, habe jetzt die geforce gegen eine ATI Radeon getauscht keine Probleme mehr
