DEJA VU......
Looks a bit familiar (read almost the same) to the landing gear i have in my sim from almost a year now. Made by Engravity..... http://www.aviationmegastore.com/prodimg/55015_0.jpg bit obvious...... Stef |
Bla Bla Bla
|
now thats an adult reply :-) you had to think an hour about that ? ;)
not quite the way i know you when i hear you elaborate about investments, designcosts, etc. ...bla bla bla indeed  ofcourse copying cuts down on design costs ;) And true....never change a winning concept :-) See you in Aviodrome next week.....i'll buy you a beer and we can compare them :bier: |
Wanne see mine too? I think if we going to talk about copying.... :p
I go for that beer well i change the beer for something non alcohol:bier: See you all there ;) gr. Frans M |
well frans...its not an airbus one :-)
and it doesnt look like the FDS 737 lever either.... both are better ;) drink is on me frans....coke for you :-) :bier: Stef |
Just to join the productive formation, got the original one, WORKING lock overrider etc...wanna try to match it? ;)
|
LOL
When out of an NG: YES !! But i wont give it back ;) When out of an older 737: NO ! (lever too long...) On a serious note: Always jealous of real parts...Real parts are allways more fun. (converting a real MRI here for example) cheers.... Stef |
Hallo,
|
First of: lets not get too excited...this is all just a hobby. I merely made an observation...further from that: i really dont care where it comes from ;)
But: lets keep our facts straight....the engravity lever is for sale for over a year. I have it for a year and it was on display on the aviodrome last year. The lausitz lever came later. At least visible for me on the website. second: the first lever looked like the fds one (square casing) the new model changed....I only made an observation. Apart from sizes it looked exactly the same. Natural process cuz this is the only good way to fit it. @ philharmony: Yes, there is a difference in length...at least on the flightdecks i have been on. I have never seen it any different. See pictures below. But hey...dont you worry about that. I would rather have a real one out of a classic thats too long than a short one thats a replica :-) So in my eyes you are the lucky one :-) ok, here are the pictures...sorry they are not from the same angle ( i never expected to have this discussion ;) , but the difference is clearly visible.) first a 737/400: http://home.casema.nl/pago/leverclassic.jpg The one from marcus seems to be modeled after the classic. here are the classics inners: http://home.casema.nl/pago/leverbare.jpg Now the NG: The head assemply with the knob starts considerably shorter after the override trigger. http://home.casema.nl/pago/leverng1.jpg http://home.casema.nl/pago/leverng2.jpg I will try and make a picture more from the side next time when im on the flight deck.
LOL....good one......not very grown up...but funny...;)
Zitat:
now.....should we go on with bla bla bla or focus on building. @philha... hope the pictures answer your question. wouldnt worry about it though...;) |
