Ich bin iirc bei Build 140 - habeich da was verpaßt? Und wenn: Reicht das aktuelle Update aus, oder muß ich vorher verpasste installieren?

Ich war aus irgendeinem Grund noch bei Build 102, und das Update ging problemlos, ohne dass man AS2004 vorher deinstallieren muß (darf man NICHT!).

Das hat sich seit Buold 140 geändert:

------Update 2004.5 Beta Version (Build 146) – Public Beta

- Fixed problem when vis reported in meters and less than 1800, vis would drop to near zero instead of proper fractional (<1) SM


------Update 2004.5 Beta Version (Build 145) – Public Beta

- Added 3 second delay after all weather clear commands to prevent possible wx setting problems (wx clear commands are initiated at AS startup, aircraft crash, and/or FS9 connection/re-connection via FSUIPC)
- Server system enhancement: Additional backup coverage now exists for certain areas including Israel
- Added new option: Extend Thunderstorm Layers – This option will extend tstorms up to potentially 35,000ft but may cause rain when close but actually outside the cloud itself. This option is defaulted OFF (change from B142, where this was automatically ON without option). When OFF, Tstorm layers will be limited to 20,000ft maximum.
- Added new option: Disable Visibility Graduation – This will disable all AS vis graduation effects which increases visibility as you climb (and instead transitions instantly at the vis ceiling, when fs9 haze layer depicted). When fs9 haze layer not depicted and graduation disabled, visibility will maintain the surface visibility regardless of altitude.
- Updated release package with newly-released FSUIPC 3.40 (required!)
- NOTE: FSUIPC v3.40 or later is REQUIRED!


------Update 2004.5 Beta Version (Build 142) – Public Beta

- Fixed problem where initial local weather set on ground (with ground updates disabled and local suppression enabled) would be ignored
- Added support for “P” (Heavy) modifier in METAR reports – applies to thunderstorm and precipitation elements
- Updated Visibility Smoothing option tool-tip (no longer effects performance, hence the warning has been removed)
- Fixed problem where FlightWatch could report inconsistent wx when local suppression was preventing new wx updates

Soll man nicht. Einfach das Update über die bestehende funktionierende AS-Installation bügeln und dien is.

Das ging aber schnell...!

Was ist denn as2004.5 für eine Version, aber laut hersteller homepage kann man das problemlos über die bestehende As installation drüberspielen, aber weiss zufällig einer was das für eine version ist? Oder ob es sich lohnt die zu loaden?

AS2004.5 ist AS2004 plus Maintenance Release 2 (Build 148, glaub ich). Ist gerade eben offiziell rausgekommen. Die jeweils aktuellen Beta-Builds und das obligatorische MR2 gibt´s für alle AS2004-Besitzer kostenlos im HifiSim-Forum bei AVsim. Und ja, es lohnt sich IMHO.

Hallo ich habe ein Problem mit der
neuen Active Sky Version 2004.5.
Wenn ich Active Sky starte erhalte ich folgende Fehlermeldung:
"Run-Time Error '372':
Failed to load control 'ChilkatZip' from
ChilkatZip.dll. Your version of ChilkatZip.dll may be outdated.
Make sure your using the version of the control that was provided with your application."

Weiss jemand Rat? Gruß Georg.

AS2004 einmal komplett deinstallieren, dann neu aufspielen und danach MR2 installieren, mehr wüsste ich jetzt auch nicht... im HiFiSim-Forum läuft aber gerade eben ein ähnlicher Thread, den es sich evtl. im Auge zu behalten lohnen würde, sollte das Reinstallieren nicht helfen: (klickediklick)

Habe jetzt Active Sky 2004 mitsamt den Updates deinstalliert
und Active Sky 2004 wieder draufgespielt.
Wenn ich jetzt aber das Setup Programm
des MR2 Updates aufrufe kommt jetzt diese
Meldung: "Error reading setup initialization file".
Kann mir jemand sagen was jetzt los ist, und wie ich das Problem beheben kann?:confused:

Edit: Diese Meldung erscheint bei allen Updates. Ich hatte schon mal so ein ähnliches Problem gehabt, nun komme ich aber nicht mehr.:heul:

Problem gelöst! Ich musste MR 1 noch herunterladen, dann hatte die Installation der Updates geklappt. Übrigens der Runtime Fehler ist auch weg.
