My favourite FF 2.0 Extensions
 

Bei mittlerweile über 2000 Extensions auf der mozilla-Site zahlt es sich vielleicht aus,
wenn wir einander hier mit unseren unter FF 2.0 lauffähigen Selektions erfreuen.
Ich hoffe, jemandem Zeit gespart oder auf lustige neue Ideen gebracht zu haben :-)

Viele die don manuel gepostet hat laufen auch bei mir, aber ich hab noch ein paar, die ich sehr cool finde und die mittlerweile am 2er rennen:

kann sein das ich noch mehr habe, die mir nicht eingefallen sind, aber das sind die wichtigsten :)

Please uninstall it, by going to 'Tools'->'Extensions'->'FasterFox'->'Uninstall' (and perhaps add a comment to the FasterFox page. If you are not running it, you are running some sort of poor extension that pre-fetches pages that it shouldn't (ones without a 'link' marker). Once you have done this, you can re-load this page. Note that if you do not remove the rogue program, you will continue to see this message occasionally.

If everyone did this, it could easily quadruple the load on our server, and increase the total amount of wasted bandwidth on the Internet by 10 times or more. While we should be able to handle at least 10 times our current load, other websites aren't so lucky, and the operators may have to pay extra money as a result -- and perhaps shut down their websites. FasterFox abuses the Internet, there is no question about that.

NOTE: There *are* a few other rarely used programs besides FasterFox that do this (there appears to be a rogue web proxy that does this too).





Fasterfox ist also zumindest zwei Überlegungen wert :(

dnsstuff funktioniert bei mir mit fasterfox bestens, ich hab aber das prefetching deaktiviert... nicht aus ideologischen gründen, aber weil ich angst um mein spärliches transfervolumen hab^^

Ja, ich hab' jetzt auch lediglich das prefetching deaktiviert ;)
Hätte halt nicht gedacht, dass das solche Folgen haben kann,
und finde das durchaus der Publikation würdig.

den fire fox browser hab ich schon länger
ich finde ihn besser als den normalen standart browser mit dem "e"
aber leider ist die google tool bar mitgegangen das ist ein schei*!!!

die google tool bar hätten sie weg lassen können aber sonst bin ich zufrieden:D

Die brauchst du ja nicht zu installieren...

bzw. sollte man das ja auch wieder deinstallieren können. ich hab den flashblocker installiert und das teil find ich genial.

hab eine frage (sorry wenn sie schon gestellt worde und ich sie nun beim schnellen durchblättern überlesen habe):

wenn ich meine einstellungen im firefox 2.0.0.1 ändere (z.B. Symbolleiste anpasse, lesezeichen- symbolleiste weggebe usw.) ist es für die aktuelle sitzung aktiv.
schließe ich firefox und starte den browser neu, sind alle einstellungen zurückgesetzt!

WAS MACHE ICH BLOS FALSCH???

Hab mein system neu aufgesetzt, hatte vorher keine probleme!!
