probs über den controller läuft, der dvd-player
jedoch nicht erkannt wird.

nein leider hat nicht gefunzt, es scheint so, als
dass win98 tatsächlich mit dem usb 2.0 probs hat.

egal ich werd mir jetzt ganz einfach einen wechsel-
rahmen holen, und die usb-controller karte gegen
eine ide-controller karte holen, da die hd im
dvd-player in einem wechselrahmen ist kann ich sie
dann im wechselrahmen im pc betreiben, und da ist
der übertragungstransfer dann via ide auf jeden
fall um ein vielfaches besser als mit dem müden
usb 1.0.

Sorry I don’t speak your langrage (German?). I found your Website by using google when I encountered some problems of my Win98. After I solved it, I’d like to share my experience with all of you. Hope this could help

I was trying to use an IBM Travelstar portable hard disk under win98. Then win98 told me I need a “ USB to IDE” driver for it. There is no such thing on IBM or Hitachi’s website. Luckily, I found one of our Chinese website called http://www.travelstar-online.com. After installed one of their driver (named Drive_E.zip ), my USB 2.0 hard disk runs again.
