Games Knoppix, a special edition of the upcoming Knoppix 3.7, has been released: "Finally, the first release of the Games Knoppix (St. Nicholas Day Release) is ready for download. The following games have been lately added: Castle-Combat, Globulation 2, Hatman, Kobodeluxe, Miniracer, Pingus, Rafkill, lots of small games. If there is a graphics card with possible acceleration detected, you will be asked whether you want to use the NVIDIA or ATI drivers. To use this option, you need at least 400MB RAM. The joystick configuration tool is started via 'joystick-config' inside the console. We'll add a small HOWTO about how to turn your Linux box into a game console soon." was für eine ver is eigentlich beim aktuellen gamestar dabei? eine suse 9.1 glaub ich, dachte aber das seih auch so eine game edition

hab die iso vom Gamesknoppix letzte Nacht gesaugt - hat aber nur 504,85 MB statt angeblich 683 MB???!!!???

zusätzlich zu den md5 prügsummen wäre bei so einer dateigröße vielleicht auch noch ein downloadmanager von interesse!!!!

suse und gamesknoppix
 

funktioniert die gameskoppix unter suse? ein bekannter hat sich so einen billigkomplettrechner gekaut und da ist suse drauf, kann ich ihm die saugen damit er was zum spielen hat oder braucht er da auch das knoppix dazu?

sind die linux gurus alle im urlaub?

pc einschalten booten von cd einstellen
knoppix einlegen und lesen was am bildschirm steht fertig..

nix installiern für was auch Knoppix is ne live distri. egal was für ein os du oben hast... es wird nix geändert gelöscht oder sonst was..

wenn du willst solltst du in bios das so einstellen
first boot cd/dvd
sec.... hdd0
usw..
bei manchen boards gehts auch über f8 damit kannst du auch angeben wo er zuerst suchen soll und booten soll..
