Noch eine Frage an die Betroffenen: Kann auch von euch jemand bestätigen, dass folgende Dateien gelöscht werden:

data.dat
dataaloft.dat
magdev.dat

ich habe mir trotzdem die Version 6.4 besorgt und habe festgestellt, daß das geladene Wetter nach Schließen von FSMeteo und Internet (Offline)nicht - wie vorher - bei dem gerade laufenden Flug erhalten bleibt. Ein Versuch mit dem realen Wetter (Jeppesen) des FS 2002 zeigt, das dies dort aber nach wie vor auch offline erhalten bleibt.
Jetzt kann ich nicht mehr mit dem Wetter des Startortes offline weiterfliegen sondern muß bei FSMETEO online bleiben.
Vorher fand ich das besser, da bin ich - bei langen Flügen - 30 min. vor der Landung wieder online gegangen und mit dem aktuellen Wetter gelandet.
Schade.

Das ist m.W. aufgrund der dynamischen Wetterengine des FS2004 so und hat nichts mit FS Meteo zu tun.

kann schon sein beim FS2004, ich habe aber den 2002 und da scheint es bei FSMETEO nicht mehr zu gehen.

Ich möchte mich nochmal auf den Titel des Thread beziehen.

Hab heute mit Marc P. Korrespondenz gehalten (nachdem ich seit einer Woche gefrustet ohne FSMeteo-Wetter geflogen bin) und habe von ihm GRATIS eine überarbeitete Version 5.2.1 bekommen, die wieder funktioniert.
Hab mich zwar über die Vorgehensweise geärgert, aber die Lösung des Problems ist zufriedenstellend.

Bei mir ist die Version 6.4 heute expiered und die oben genannten Daten fehlen! Das haut doch dem Fass den Boden raus, was löschen die auf meinem Computer Daten? Bin mal gespannt, was der Herr von Fs-Meteo mir antwortet.

Ich habe auch keine Mail erhalten, bis auf dataloft.dat fehlen die anderen ebenfalls. Da ich FSMETEO schon seit Anfang habe hat es für mich sein Geld abgearbeitet, werde mich also nicht um eine neue Version kümmern.

I still use the version of fsmeteo 5.2 for FS2002. But since Newyear it is not possible to use it (there apears a message) even I'm regsitered and paid for this program.

Thanks for registering FS_Meteo V5.2 and/or Weather Display V1.4 for FS2002, FS2000, CFS2 and FS98.

If you use Outlook Express and you didn't see the attachments file or a message popup "the following unsafe attachments in your mail: FSMeteo.zip" Just Go to Tools/Options/Security tab and remove the check mark from "Do not allow . You'll be able to see it.


You must use the fs_meteo.exe included in this weather display packages.

Installation
------------
Uncompress the attach file into the existing FS_Meteo folder, or create a new one.


You're now ready to have live weather data and real flight situation.

Please take the time to read and print the new FSMeteo-Userman.doc and also the Fsuipc files cause there are many setting involve there!

Important note for WIDEFS users:
you must upgrade both FSUIPC and WIDEFS together whenever
you upgrade either. They are inter-dependent in matters concerning weather parameters.

Thank You for the fast support. But after all I think that it is a very strange behaviour of You to delete all Meteo-weather-files from MY COMPUTER! I have saved a lot of interesting weather situations (storms, hurricans etc.) as *.met files and YOU JUST DELETED them. I think that it is illegal! Now I've lost alle these files and I guess You can't give them back to me!??

Imust say that Your behaviour is reported and discussed in a lot of magazines and PC Flying belonging Websites and it is not a good advertising for You product.

I hope You will give a statement to the community in the near future. Until this happened You gave a good support to the users of Your program. I hope, that it doesn't change.
