P4 Chipsatz mit FSB 800 MHz Unterstützung
Der PT800 ermöglicht nun auch 800 MHz am Front Side Bus (200 MHz quad pumped) Integriert ist ein Dual-Channel-DDR-400-Speicher-Controller, "FastStream64" der eine Speicherbandbreite von bis zu 3,2 GByte/s ermöglicht.
Angebunden ist die Southbridge VT8237 mittels 8X V-Link dessen Bandbreite 533 MB/s beträgt. Somit kann das Chipset mit 8 USB 2.0 Ports, LAN, sechs PCI, Serial ATA/RAID (Level 0, 1 und 0+1) und natürlich auch noch mit Parallel ATA-133 aufwarten. Für den Sound wird der VIA-Vinyl-Soundchip oder auf Wunsch auch der bessere VIA Vinyl Gold Audio verwendet.
