Für die neue Intel-Plattform mit LGA775-Sockel und den beiden Chipsets i915 (Grantsdale) und i925 (Alderwood) kündigt MSI Produkte an.
Da die Chipsets eine Menge bieten und MSI diese auch nutzt möchte man mit der Bezeichnung „Platinum“ darauf hinweisen. MSI 925X Neo Platinum mit Performance Accelaration Technology (PAT) ist die Highend-Platine für den i925X-Chipsatz. MSI wird das Flaggschiff zusammen mit der eigenen 54Mbit-WLAN-Karte MSI PC54G2 anbieten. Das zweite Mitglied der LGA775-Familie ist das MSI 915P Neo2 Platinum. Bis auf die Performance Acceleration Technology, bietet das 915P Neo die gleiche Ausstattung. Hierzu zählt ebenfalls die WLAN-Karte MSI PC54G2. Als dritten Neuzugang präsentiert MSI das 915G Neo2 Platinum. Das 915G Neo2 Platinum verfügt über den Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 (Intel GMA900) mit DX 9- und Open GL 1.4-Unterstützung für eine äußerst leistungsfähige Onboard-Grafik.
Zudem bietet MSI ein Bundle mit dem Grantsdalemodell MSI 915P Neo2 Platinum und zwei Samsungmodulen 256 MB DDR2 533, PC2-4300-CL4 an. Im Vergleich zu den Einzelpreisen spart man so rund 40 Euro.
